Initiate Audio and Media is the brainchild of British underground heavy metal stalwart Neil Hudson.
Neil has been a permanent fixture in the underground scene for many years. Firstly back in 1994 in thrash outfit VIOLATION on guitar duties. Violation enjoyed sharing stages with IRON MONKEY RAGING SPEEDHORN MEDULLA NOCTE ORANGE GOBLIN PAUL DI'ANNO DEARLY BEHEADED PIST ON UK SUBS plus many others. Violation released three ep's For the love of a new God, Beneath the steel sky and Agression Download all to early critical acclaim. After 5 years with VIOLATION the call to bigger things came in the form of GUTWORM.
GUTWORM was formed in 1999 and instantly made a sizeable dent in the UK metal scene. With Neil now moving onto lead vocals the aim was all out aggression! GUTWORM made the jump overseas in the early 2000's to play two festivals in the U.S. with such bands as NILE THE HAUNTED PIG DESTROYER TESTAMENT DILLENGER ESCAPE PLAN MORTICIAN ORIGIN CONVERGE and HATE ETERNAL.
GUTWORM toured the UK relentlessly and secured a slot at BLOODSTOCK 2004 becoming the only unsigned band to receive 4k's in Kerrang Magazine. Gutworm then signed with German label SPV Gmbh and later to UK label Anticulture releasing two albums RUIN THE MEMORY and DISFIGURED NARCISSUS again both to critical acclaim. In 2007 GUTWORM performed at HELLFEST in France alongside MACHINE HEAD, SLAYER, MEGADETH, DREAM THEATER and TYPE O NEGATIVE.
After numerous tours up and down the country with bands such as AMEN and BYZANTINE and sold out shows with the likes of SOULFLY NAPALM DEATH ENTOMBED SIKTH AMERICAN HEAD CHARGE and SYLOSIS. GUTWORM would finally call it a day in December 2009, leaving a sizeable hole in the UK underground scene. A hole that would be more than filled in the sound and shape of KRYSTHLA.

KRYSTHLA have carved their name deep into the roots of the UK metal scene securing a slots on the Sophie Lancaster stage at Bloodstock Festival in 2016, opening the Ronnie James Dio main stage alongside PARKWAY DRIVE ANTHRAX CRADLE OF FILTH THY ART IS MURDER and THE WILDHEARTS in 2019 and touring and gigging relentlessly up and down the country and all over Europe with bands such as DECAPITATED OBITUARY VADER TEXTURES PSYCROPTIC NAPALM DEATH and MEMORIAM .
